Bring a New Toy

We encourage participants and volunteers to help support the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program by bringing a new, unwrapped toy on race day for a child in need this holiday season.

The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year, and distribute those toys as Christmas gifts to needy children in the community in which the campaign is conducted

Kids K

Kids 9 and under can join the excitement by participating. The Kids K is an opportunity to introduce your children to a healthy lifestyle in a fun and festive way. Kids 8 and under must be accompanied at the race site by a parent or legal guardian.

Costume Contest

Santa and his helpers will pick the top three costumes and the crowd will help decide the first, second and third place winners. Join in the fun!  Interested registered participants should meet at 9:30 a.m. by the finish line.

The Texas Military Forces Museum

This museum was built at Camp Mabry to honor the men and women who served in the military forces of Texas.  The history of all major Texas National Guard units is now preserved with exhibits and written histories for everyone to share.  Tours start at 10:00.

Parking

Entrance to Camp Mabry is on W. 35th St. just west of Exposition Blvd.  Once through the security checkpoint (photo id required), you will be directed to parking.
